Billionaire Habits for Disgustingly Rich Success: Insights from John Cordwell
UK billionaire John Cordwell, founder of a $4 billion tech empire, outlines seven core habits for wealth and a fulfilling life.
- Healthy Living & Fasting: Prioritize organic vegetables and adopt fasting for disease prevention and vitality, exemplified by Cordwell at 72. 🍎
- Adventure Mindset: Embrace life and business as an adventure, motivated by success and fear of failure. Wealth requires immense effort despite modern accessibility. 🚀
- Strategic Recruitment & Management: Hire superior specialists. Manage with "ultra-critical" fairness, expecting/rewarding high performance. Outsource weaknesses; collaboration (1+1=11) is key. 🤝
- Philanthropy & "Profit for Good": Businesses must contribute to society, paying taxes. Advocate for "profit for good" and aim to leave a positive legacy through philanthropic foundations. 🌍
- Fitness & Health for Longevity: High-intensity exercise boosts VO2 max for longevity. Healthy weight reduces visceral fat and health risks. Health is fundamental for wealth and mental well-being. đź’Ş
- Turning Adversity into Advantage: Transform life's challenges into catalysts for growth. Success comes from deep personal desire, consistent effort, and hard work – "the harder I work, the luckier I get." 🌟
- Calculated Risk-Taking & Radical Thinking: Balance risk/reward. "Hack luck" through persistence, clear direction, and calculated risks. Embrace radical thinking; Cordwell banned emails to boost direct communication/productivity. đź§
Final Takeaway: Cordwell’s framework shows that wealth and a rich life are built on disciplined habits across personal well-being, strategic business acumen, and societal impact.
